The Old Creek belongs to the Puddleford family since... Well, since the year 1677, when Henry O'Puddleford (the "o" disappeared in the family name later) built the pub.
Recently it was closed, because of renovations and a mysterious skeleton, which Jemima Puddleford found under the bottom of the sink unit (We could ask Bobby Roberts what that all was about... If you want ... ;)). But now the pub has opened again.
Let's take a look at it:
Outside the customers can take a look at the prizes...
... there is also an interesting advertising sign...
... inside you'll find some shelves with the best wine in Sylvania...
...a counter...
...and a cozy lounge.
Today Hans, Digger and Eustace Barrington met for a beer.
Jemima took their order.
"Ah, that's what I call a beer!", Eustace said.
"Totally agree with you!", Digger nodded, "It really is fine beer that's served here."
The men laughed about the joke, before they started talking about their day.
Sometimes Ernest and Jemima are enjoying a glass of wine too.
But just one glass, because it is very important to be sober when you're running a pub ;) :D.
Also the wine is just for enjoyment.
The Puddlefords hope that they can welcome you too one day!
I made the pub completely out of balsa wood and covered the walls and floors with scrapbooking paper. Now I'm looking for a wooden barrel. Do you have any suggestions, where to find a miniature barrel? I looked on ebay, but wasn't pleased with the results...
Write you hopefully soon,
yours Kyra
This is a fantastic pub! The building looks great from the outside but it is beautifully decorated inside too! The ducks are perfect to run the place! If you search ebay for 'playmobil barrels' you may find some nice ones!
AntwortenLöschenThank you! I'm glad you like it. That's a great idea! Why haven't I thought about playmobil? lol Thank you very much!
LöschenPerfect i want to go there! I really love it! Maybe Teri and Frasier must come visit one day
AntwortenLöschenYou are very welcome there :D. I hope they will visit. Thank you :)
LöschenThe pub looks lovely! Hmm, maybe you could make one out of balsa wood or you could just wait and see if something catches your eye on ebay.

Thank you very much Emily! I tried it with balsa wood, but failed miserably (You would laugh, when I show the result to you :D)). Exactly, I will search ebay and hope that there will appear something nice.
LöschenI love your pub!!! I had in mind making one for my village too! Yours looks really nice. I love the way it looks from the outside and how welcoming feels in the inside. The posters and stickers you used look great! Playmobil has barrels. I know it because I wanted one to serve beer for my pub and I looked for them sometime ago.
AntwortenLöschenThank you so much Cutata!
LöschenOh great, I would love to see yours, when you built one.
After looking I saw such beer "serving" barrels too, but unfortunatly at a horrible prize.
I know, they're pricey for what you get.Actually,I looked for them but I did't buy them.I might go for it eventually but I hope to find a cheaper one.
LöschenHopefully we'll be able to find some at a good prize :)
LöschenThe pub looks really inviting- it must have taken quite a while to make? I really like the photo with Ernest pouring out a drink.
AntwortenLöschenThank you so much :).
LöschenI think I worked at it about 4 days, but just because the glue had to dry.
