Advent Calendar: 1st December

Excited Anton jumped out of his bed and run through the children’s room, upstairs directly into the kitchen.

“Good morning, dear!”, his mother said, who prepared the breakfast.

“Good morning, mum. Can I have my advent calendar?”, squirrelly the young rabbit jumped around.

“Of course you can! Here it is!”, Flora handed over a colorful advent calendar, filled with all kinds of sweets.

“Thank you!”, Anton gave her a kiss, “Oh wow! It looks great! I can’t wait to see what’s behind the first door!”

At this moment Hans appeared in the kitchen, “Oh, good morning, Anton. You are already awake? And I see you got your advent calendar.” His dad smiled, “Should we hang it up together?”

“Yes, please!”

Together they fixed the calendar at the wall. “Now you can open the first door!”

Carefully and also a bit ceremonial Anton opened the door with number 1.

“A cookie in the shape of a sleigh! How cool is that?”, he yelled, “But I will ate it after breakfast.”

His parents smiled at each other, Anton was always thoughtful with the things he got and appreciated them very much.

Soon also the other Löffel children appeared and got their own advent calendar. 

Behind Luna’s first door was hidden a chocolate star and behind Rosie’s a candy cane. All three enjoyed their candy very much. 

Finally the advent season had started in Marigold Creek – All children and also the parents had looked forward to this special time of the year. So many wonderful Christmas traditions waited for the villagers before Christmas Eve.

And also other events happened in this year’s Christmas season…
